I think your experimental setup is biasing your results: the words "Python", "Ruby", "C" and "Java" are ambiguous. The words "Perl", "Javascript" and "tcl" are not. If I'm searching for something related to Javascript, adding "programming" to the query is redundant.
ReplyDeleteHmm - Joel is right. Change "programming" to "code" and see Javascript jump way up (though the rest of the trends seem to stay the same)
